Welcome to AIDA v2 (“we”, “us”, “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the AIDA v2 mobile application (“App”) collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and your rights regarding that information.
IMPORTANT: Replace the placeholders below with your organization’s actual legal name and contact details before publishing.
Account information (email address, display name) when you create or log in to an account.
Support requests or other messages you send to us.
Content you upload or create inside the App (for example, notes, custom settings, or files), only if you choose to upload them.
4.2 Information collected automatically
Device & usage data: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, language, crash logs, and performance metrics.
Analytics: in-app events (features used, time spent) to improve the App and for product analytics.
Advertising ID: the Google Advertising ID (or platform-specific ad identifier) for advertising and ad measurement. You may reset or opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings.
Location data: coarse (approximate) location, only if you enable location-based features and explicitly grant permission.
4.3 Third-party sources and SDKs
We use third-party services and SDKs to provide and improve the App (for example: analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, advertising, and payment processors). These providers may collect information directly from your device or via their SDKs. Examples include (but are not limited to): Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics), Google Play Services, AdMob, and other third-party SDKs.
Note: update this list with the exact SDKs and providers your app uses before publishing.
5. How we use your information
We use personal data for the following purposes (depending on the data type):
Provide and maintain the App: deliver app functionality, features, and updates.
Personalization: personalize settings, recommendations, and content.
Analytics & product improvement: understand usage patterns and improve performance and stability.
Security & fraud prevention: detect, prevent and respond to abuse, security incidents, and illegal activities.
Communications: send transactional messages, service announcements, and respond to support inquiries.
Advertising & measurement: serve and measure ads, and understand ad performance (if your version of the app includes ads).
Legal compliance: comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.
6. When and with whom we share data
We may share your data in the following circumstances:
Service providers: with vendors who perform services on our behalf (analytics providers, crash reporting, hosting, payment processors, customer support).
Advertising partners: for ad serving and measurement (e.g., using Advertising ID and aggregated signals).
Legal requests: to respond to lawful requests by public authorities or to protect rights, property or safety.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or bankruptcy.
Aggregated or de-identified information: which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
We do not sell your personal information for money. If our handling practices change, we will update this privacy policy and provide any required notices.
7. Google Play & Google services
Because AIDA v2 is distributed on Google Play and may use Google services, certain data handling is subject to Google Play policies and Google's own privacy practices:
Advertising ID: if we use ads or ad measurement, we may access the Google Advertising ID to deliver and measure ads. Users can opt out of personalized advertising through device settings.
Firebase & Crashlytics: we may use Firebase to collect analytics and crash reports. These services process device identifiers, usage events, and crash logs.
Google Play policy compliance: we follow Google Play’s User Data policy, including requirements for disclosure and secure handling of sensitive user data.
For details about Google’s data processing and controls, see Google’s privacy documentation (link available in the Google Play Console and Google’s public pages).
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, SDK-managed identifiers) to provide functionality, analyze usage, and serve personalized content. Most mobile SDKs use local storage or device identifiers rather than browser cookies.
9. Data security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Examples include secure communication (TLS), access controls, encryption at rest where feasible, and regular security reviews.
However, no system is 100% secure. If we discover a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
10. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Specific retention periods depend on the type of data and applicable laws.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:
Access: request access to the data we hold about you.
Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal exceptions).
Portability: request a copy of your data in a commonly used machine-readable format.
Restriction / Objection: object to or request restriction of processing (for direct marketing or where our legal basis is legitimate interests).
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
